What are people saying

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

"Not all days are equally good when you have Parkinson's. When I have a bad day, it helps to log on to the dance channel and have a spin with Elisabeth. It gives me a sweaty forehead, good energy, and it's impossible to be in a bad mood when I dance. Dance means indescribably much in my life with Parkinson's, and the app allows me to dance whenever it suits me."

"Fantastic experience! It felt like being in my twenties again :-)

I love dance and music, and the way the dance videos are structured makes me feel happier and happier the longer I dance.

The more I dance, the more engaged I become.

I even forget about my illness for a while."

"After just one dance, I feel how my joints are getting the necessary movement, even those I don't normally use in my daily routine.

I am completely thrilled about this dance concept! Although I've tried Hiphop and Zumba before, I can no longer do them due to PD. But here, I can still participate and adjust each dance to my balance and coordination on any given day.

I still experience the same positive energy and joy - I'm truly excited!"

Award-winning concept with significant impact on individuals with Parkinson

Integrate exercise seamlessly into your dance routine. With delightful music and movements, dancing becomes a playful way to train essential functions such as balance, gait, and body control.

Invite life, yourself, and your loved ones to the dance floor for loads of joy. Your body will thank you for it, as happiness endorphins dance in harmony within.

An award-winning dance concept developed specifically for people with Parkinson's and their caregivers.

In 2018, the Parkinson's Association received the Patient of the Year Award from the Danish Health Authority for the "Dance with Parkinson's" project. Finally, a patient project that benefits both patients and caregivers.

Through dance training, achieve better balance, gait function, muscle strength, posture, and, importantly, loads of joy, as well as improved coordination.

PD Ballroom Fitness™ was developed by Elisabeth Dalsgaard, drawing on her background in dance, aerobics, fitness, and sports education. This concept works both physically and mentally, addressing the challenges faced by Parkinson's patients.

Classical dances such as Waltz, Slow Fox, Jive, Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, and more form the basis of the concept. Steps are presented with consideration for turns and intensity, and energetic dance melodies provide energy and drive for the training.

When you dance, you automatically train your balance and gait function, crucial for Parkinson's patients. Through dance and music, achieve a flow and rhythm that promote a more efficient gait.

Mr. Parkinson becomes a benchwarmer

as life takes to the dance floor.

Dance feels like anything but exercise. Suddenly, you're a dancer, not just a patient. Dance alone or with a caregiver, finding joy in training while achieving physical exercise. Instruction is tailored to each dancer's level.

Dance is like medicine but without any side effects—what's not to like?
